Mrs. Wight has served in a leadership role in the Human Resources Department from July 1999 through January 2009 and August 2010 to present time. She received her Professional Human Resources certification in March of 2009. She is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management and the Columbia Basin Chapter of Northwest Human Resource Management Association. Mrs. Wight has over 30 years of experience encompassing all aspects of human resources and business management in public and private sectors. Her management responsibilities have included successfully establishing office systems, developing policies and procedures, recruiting, hiring, training, and supervision of personnel. Additionally her leadership roles have included coordinating and directing efforts such as employee relations, labor negotiations, new hire orientations, benefit administration, payroll, financial reporting, and budgeting
