Originally hailing from Pasco, Erin's roots in the Tri-Cities run deep, as she has been a proud resident of the region for more than 35 years. Her journey in academia led her to Whitworth University, where she diligently pursued her passion for science and graduated with a degree in Biology.

Erin's career at BFHD has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence. For the majority of her tenure, she played a pivotal role in the Environmental Health Food Safety program, ensuring the safety of local establishments and the well-being of the community. Her dedication to this role is a testament to her commitment to public health.

In 2021, Erin took on a leadership role that showcased her ability to innovate and adapt to evolving community needs. She successfully managed the launch of BFHD's inaugural School Environmental Health & Safety Program, demonstrating her forward-thinking approach and her desire to protect the health and safety of students and educators.

Building on her impressive track record, Erin's career took another significant turn in 2023 when she assumed the position of Senior Manager for the Surveillance & Investigation Branch at BFHD.
