- Help families find a dental office and schedule appointments
- Provide oral health screenings and preventive fluoride varnish applications at preschools and in our BFHD clinic
- Assist families in overcoming barriers to dental care such as finances, transportation and interpretation
- Provide oral health information
- Attend community outreach events and deliver oral health presentations
Any child 0-5 years of age on Washington Apple Health Insurance (Medicaid), as well as those up to their 13th birthday with DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) designation are eligible for this program.
- Three fluoride varnish applications per year per provider
- Two dental examinations per year
- Two parent education sessions per year
- Two oral health screenings at a school, WIC clinic or at your child's pediatrician
- Dental care as needed including cleanings and treatment
Several dental offices in our area are ABCD providers and have been trained to provide dental care for ABCD-eligible children. For participating dental offices, see our referral list above. For more help, please feel free to contact our ABCD Coordinator.
Our oral health team members are available to deliver oral health presentations and attend outreach events where we can deliver oral health resources and information. Please contact us if you have a need for oral health information or resources and we can see how we can help.
