Safe Kids Benton-Franklin is a local organization dedicated to preventing injuries and deaths in the children of Benton and Franklin County. Safe Kids Benton-Franklin is one of over 400 Safe Kids Coalitions in the US.
We do community outreach and education on many safety topics including Child Passenger Safety, Head Injury Prevention, Safe Sleep, Poison Prevention, Safe Gun Storage, and Drowning Prevention.
Safe Kids Benton-Franklin partners with Kadlec Regional Medical Center to present Safe Kids Saturday, a free community event that makes learning safety information fun for kids of all ages. Safe Kids Saturday is held the 2nd Saturday in May. 2019 marks the 25th anniversary of this amazing community event.
Coalition meetings are held on the third Wednesday of every month at 12 noon. Due to the pandemic meetings are currently held via Zoom. Please contact us at [email protected] or the contact form provided on this page.
