Originally hailing from Pasco, Erin's roots in the Tri-Cities run deep, as she has been a proud resident of the region for more than 35 years. Her journey in academia led her to Whitworth University, where she diligently pursued her passion for science and graduated with a degree in Biology.
Erin's career at BFHD has been marked by a relentless pursuit of excellence. For the majority of her tenure, she played a pivotal role in the Environmental Health Food Safety program, ensuring the safety of local establishments and the well-being of the community. Her dedication to this role is a testament to her commitment to public health. In 2021, Erin took on a leadership role that showcased her ability to innovate and adapt to evolving community needs. She successfully managed the launch of BFHD's inaugural School Environmental Health & Safety Program, demonstrating her forward-thinking approach and her desire to protect the health and safety of students and educators.
