WIC can provide assistance for families with infants and children up to 5 years of age, as well as to women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or whose pregnancy ended fewer than 6 months ago.
WIC staff will pre-screen for eligibility over the phone, and then schedule an appointment for a phone meeting. When your family qualifies, food benefits will be uploaded to a eWIC card. The eWIC card can be mailed or can be picked up safely at the office.
Some services, like breast pump delivery, still require a physical visit, but contact is limited.

Who is eligible for WIC ?
- Pregnant women, breastfeeding women, and women who've had a pregnancy in the last 6 months can apply.
- Parents, step-parents, guardians, and foster parents of infants and children under the age of 5 can apply for their children.
- If a person has a job or if he or she has private health insurance, they can still apply for WIC.

- For income guidelines, a household is defined as a group of related or non-related individuals, who usually, although not necessarily, are living together and share income.
- A person who participates or has family members who participate in certain other benefit programs, such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), Medicaid, or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), automatically meets the income eligibility requirement.
